Pilot terms

These are the ground rules for using Spare Hour while it is in a pilot. They are short on purpose. By signing in, you agree to them.

It is a pilot

Spare Hour is provided as is during the pilot. It is still being built, so features may change, move or go away, and there may be outages. The assistant can make mistakes, so read what it makes before you use or send it.

No student data

Please do not put student names, grades, records or other student information into chats or files during the pilot. If some goes in by mistake, tell us and we will delete it.

Use it for school work

Use Spare Hour for your work at school. Follow your district's rules, and do not use it to harm, harass or mislead anyone, or to break the law.

Your work is yours

Files you upload and files the assistant makes for you belong to you and your district. How we handle them is in the privacy notice.

We can suspend misuse

If an account is being misused, we may pause or close it. Where we can, we will talk with you or your district first.

Changes

We may update these terms as the pilot goes on. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
